Description of the Programme The Bachelor of Arts (Theology) degree programme provides the biblical and theological foundations that are essential for Christian ministry. The program covers broad areas in Bible, Theology, Missiology, Christian Education and Pastoral studies in an effort to meet a broader range of needs for Ministry and Academia. The goal of the programme is to equip leadership for church and para-church ministry and for transformational Christian leadership in society. In addition to providing a sound foundation in Bible, theology and ministry skills, the Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree programme seeks to develop Christian leadership that is characterized by integrity, vision, commitment to the Great Commission, and ability to initiate biblically informed movements of transformation in the church and society in Africa. The program places particular emphasis on developing a vision and passion for the Great Commission and movement-building through the development of the skills of evangelism, discipleship and equipping others as leaders. You will learn creative scholarly methods to examine classical and contemporary theology historically, philosophically, and scripturally. Theology will intersect with the social sciences and other humanist disciplines. You’ll pursue your own theological quest and goals through six areas within Theological Studies.
