Consequently, CCAP will continue to review its performance to ensure that it continues to meet the needs and aspirations of its clients and other stakeholders.
The Centre for Career and Academic Progress (CCAP) was founded in June 2012 to offer academic, career and employment related services to students and young professionals within Nairobi and its environs. In response to the growing demand for our services, the Centre has successfully evolved to become a respected firm offering its services both to individuals and institutions across the country and beyond. Its mission is to offer academic, career and employment development services to enable people realize their full potential by utilizing highly skilled and competent resource persons.
The Centre has two distinctive divisions: the Academic and Career Consultancy Services Division and the Employment Consultancy Services Division. Our staff is dedicated to the day- to-day operations (including a team of external consultants responsible for corporate services assignments). We strive to assist students in the exploration of life goals, vocational and long- term career goals and selection of academic programs as well as opportunities in those programmes.
The Centre is dedicated to providing its clients with the tools they need to effectively manage their career progression from entry level positions all through to pinnacle positions requiring accumulated experience. By employing a holistic, comprehensive and personalized approach, the Center for Career and Academic Progress offers students and young professionals unparalleled advice to evaluate their many potential in academic and career opportunities. Students are assigned an advisor who works with them closely to prepare them for job search and employment upon graduation by creating a career management plan.
The Centre has appointed a Board of Advisors so as to harness the best ideas and practices in latest employment, career and education trends as well as institutional management and development both locally and internationally. The Center also works with education institutions and other organizations on a wide range of issues to help them develop strategies and mechanisms for higher performance and enhanced service delivery.
