Description of the Programme
The programme provides students with a solid foundation for a career as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer qualified to carry out aircraft line maintenance duties. The trainees are expected to acquire skills in Communication, Information Communication Technology, Aircraft Maintenance, Workshop Technology, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Electrical Installation Technology, Airfield Safety and Procedures, Airframe Structures, Aero Piston Engine, Control Systems, Theory of Flight and Propellers among others.

Course Duration
3 years 20 hours per week


Career Prospects
Career opportunities for successful graduates exist in airline engineering departments, Charter Companies, Avionics and instrumentation, Aircraft Maintenance companies and Aircraft Ground Handling Agents, where they may be employed as aircraft technicians, avionic and instrumentation experts and line maintenance.
