Programme Overview
The Certificate in Library and Information Science/Studies is designed to develop knowledge and skills in areas such as digital resourcing, accessing information, locating information and helping users to obtain access to information and/or material. Students will develop a clear understanding of the libraries, archives and information services environment. It also covers issuing information and/or material; locating and replacing information and/or material; supporting users to make use of digital resources; and protecting, securing and copying information and/or material.
