Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) is a practice-based degree course offering specialisations in a wide range of techniques and technologies relevant for the making of art, such as drawing, media arts, painting, video, ceramics, gold and silversmithing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, sound and public art, etc. The programme involves aesthetic, intellectual and practical skills while focusing on creativity and innovation. You will study courses like Introduction to Drawing, Elements of Fine Art, Analysis and Image Development, Studio Research, Digital Imaging, Design Communication, 3d Modelling and Rendering, Multimedia Studio Project Management, Photography, Graphic Design, Digital Design, etc. in line with the advancements in technology, students will learn the whole concept of pipelining of production in 2D and 3D animation with the incorporation of in-depth traditional concepts of drawing and painting. Study trips and field attachments provide on-the-job, supervised and evaluated experiences that contribute to the student’s overall education and development. Attachments also introduce you to employment practices, enterprise development opportunities and arts industry networks to establish yourself as an independent art practitioner.
