The co-operative movement is at the heart of this country’s progress, cutting across all sectors.The Bachelor of Cooperative Management degree course is intended to provide students with business management, ethical and technological skills required by the co-operative industry. This degree programme is meant to train manpower with co-operative skills to steer our economy for faster economic growth in line with the Country’s vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals launched in 2016. The programme cultivates a deep understanding of co-operatives, credit unions and mutuals. Students will be able to appreciate the unique social value co-operative models bring to business and its impact on the people and the economy. The program incorporates practical components designed to provide you with the skills, information and capabilities to be a visionary leader within the co-operative movement. You will develop a firm foundation in Co-operative Law, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Marketing and Human Resource Management practices and concepts, Economics, Ethics, Information Technology, Organisation Behaviour, etc.
