Description of the Programme

In this programme, the focus is placed on the development and application of business, analytical, quantitative, communication and management skills to a wide variety of activities in the rural and natural resource sectors. The programme is designed to address the policy and economic issues associated with agricultural production and cost economics, marketing and resource use, farm management economics, agricultural and resource policy analysis as well as agricultural marketing economics. Graduates are skilled to effectively perform professional roles in a changing social and economic environment to deal with the multifaceted issues facing the agricultural and resource sectors.
