Networks make exchanging information possible – communications networks transfer voice, video or data. Communication and network specialists are the people who make sure the information gets through – they design, test and build our communication networks. As the communications industry continues to experience tremendous growth around the world, there is a need to train specialists in the area of communications and computer networks who can implement and develop the technologies to respond to domestic and global requirements. Students will be trained how to construct and maintain communication systems and computer networks and develop core skills in electronics, computer and network programming and installation, electronic and computer techniques, digital and microprocessor techniques, programming, computer networks and communications, analogue and digital carrier systems, optical and satellite communications, audio and video techniques, mobile communication system and programming, etc. The programme will prepare you for certifications such as CCNA, Network+ and MCSA.
