No business or organization can thrive without a team of competent finance and accounting professionals. Therefore, pursuing a Diploma in Accountancy is the first step towards becoming an accounting professional. The Diploma in Accountancy course aims at providing trainees with sufficient skills and knowledge to perform competently the accounting functions in an organization with minimal supervision. It encompasses both professional and theoretical aspects of accounting as a profession and as a discipline. Students will be introduced to a wide range of accounting skills and practices including how to; introduce and maintain accounting systems; prepare financial statements; report on business performance; and manage budgets and forecasts as well as providing management accounting information among others.
