Description of the Programme
Diploma in Architecture is intended to equip students with knowledge and skills to create architectural designs that satisfy both aesthetic and technical requirements. It deals with design, arrangement and structurization of construction and aims at providing a specific and suitable composition for each type of construction. Students will acquire knowledge and skills to provide technical support in different aspects in the field(s) of the built environment. Courses within the program include technical design graphics applications, Architectural Communication, Workshop Technology, Construction Materials, Physical Environment I (Ecology), Physical Environment II (Geology), Construction Technology, Surveying, Computer Aided Design and Draughting, Architectural Design, Building Economics, solid modeling design, applied strength of materials, statistics, etc.
