Description of the Programme
Diploma in Food and Beverage/Diploma in Food and Beverage Management extends the knowledge obtained at Certificate Level and concentrates on providing students with the additional knowledge, skills and techniques required for the efficient management of hotel & catering operations. You will cover food and beverage service; food production; food and menu knowledge; nutrition; food safety and hygiene; and service management in hospitality industry among others. The programme features a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills which are learnt through classes held in onsite restaurants. You will also complete a supervised industry attachment in order to gain valuable work-place skills and insights.
