Description of the Programme

This course is intended to equip the trainees with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to perform and manage development activities in the society. Community development work aims to facilitate people in working together to influence and guide the future of their community. Students will cover Development Economics, Community Based organizations, Community capacity building and Empowerment, Resource mobilization and Fundraising, Project management, Advocacy and Lobbying, Disaster management, Resource management, Gender and development, etc. Many organizations need personnel with solid social studies competence.

A Minimum Mean Grade of C- (minus) at KCSE
