Description of the Programme
This course is intended for professionals and fresh students who are new to the purchasing and supply management function. The course addresses the strategic role of purchasing and supply chain management within the organization. Students will gain the competence, knowledge and skills to play critical roles in guiding organizational strategy through purchasing and supplies decisions. This programme covers a broad spectrum of areas within the field such as purchasing and supply chain management, financial and cost accounting, principles of negotiations, transportation, stores management and stock control, international purchasing and supply management, principles of logistics management, inventory management, contract management, and purchasing and supply law among others.
